Jamaica Plain, MA - October 25, 2023 -- On Wednesday, October 25th at 4:00 p.m., the Jamaica Plain Branch of the Boston Public Library welcomes back Jungle Jim and his “Dr. Junglestein’s Spooktacular Madness Show.”

Jungle Jim has previously performed for the Jamaica Plain Branch numerous times, and is excited to bring this new Halloween-themed performance. This program combines interactive magic, comedy and balloons to encourage literacy and reinforces the fun of being at the library. Manning is an experienced library performer, having entertained at over 1000 libraries in thirteen different states.

“I love performing in J.P.,” says Manning. “The children are great and the parents are involved, which makes for a fun experience as a performer.” Children will be encouraged to dress in costume, helping to add to the experience.

Admission to virtual “Dr. Junglestein’s Spooktacular Madness Show.” is free, but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. This performance is recommended for children ages 3-10.
