The company was founded by Yvetta Young, who grew up in the South but has lived in New York City for most of her adult life. She is excited to bring her product to the city where she now calls home.
Yvetta Young said: “I love Atlanta and the people here. My goal with this business is to bring delicious, local flavors to people who are looking for something different from their traditional popcorn. I know that there are lots of people like me who love trying new things, so I wanted to create something unique and fun that everyone can enjoy!”
Gifting got slightly more difficult as time passed. When creating the concept of Just Get Poppin' popcorn, Just Get Poppin' owner and entrepreneur Yvetta Young drew on her highly creative energy and her knowledge of friends and family's favorite tastes and pleasures. Yvetta believed she could begin her enterprise with passion after cooking up trials in her house and satisfying her quest for intriguing mixed flavors. She then took her concept for a spin with collaborators Gayle Carey and Nedra Nyles, and together they brought Just Get Poppin'! to reality.
