South Bend, Indiana, United States, December 15, 2014 -- Colocation, Dedicated servers and Cloud service provider Host Color (https://www.hostcolor.com) has announced that it has made available to all Colocation and Dedicated Server customers, a metrics platform named Network Performance Monitoring & Traffic Analyzer (NPMTA). It is based on SolarWinds network performance monitoring software solution.

NPMTA can be used as add-on service to Colocation or Dedicated hosting accounts. It allows Host Color’s customers to analyze bandwidth usage, monitor business critical applications and network utilization. They can also monitor data transfer usage by: application, user, protocol and location.

“Our new network performance service helps clients to manage their computing instances much better. They can improve operational efficiency with NPMTA’s monitoring, alerting and reporting tools in a single pane of glass for end-to-end network visibility”, explains Martin Andreev, VP of Operations of Host Color. He adds that, NPMTA makes possible for administrators to quickly identify network and application reliability as well as performance issues with deep packet inspection and analysis.

According to Host Color, the NPMTA speeds troubleshooting of network issues, resolves network outages and significantly reduces downtime. It allows administrators to monitor response time, availability and performance of any network devices, while the system automatically calculates network latency and correlates to end-users’ quality of experience. The web host has been actively testing the NPMTA since October 1st 2014. On December 1st the company has made NPMTA available to all Colocation and dedicated server customers.
