All charges related to Ms. Cynthia Michaud and the New England Wood Pellet case, were dropped on August 4, 2014, since no probable cause could be determined.

CORRECTION: In response to the recent news article, and that entire prior, since July 11, 2013 regarding the arrest of Ms. Cynthia Michaud, President and CEO of CJM Associates, LLC, and the New England Wood Pellet Case, the following statement has been released:

All charges related to Ms. Cynthia Michaud and the New England Wood Pellet case, were dropped on August 4, 2014, since no probable cause could be determined.

Ms. Cynthia Michaud has released the following statement once her name was finally cleared in court and she was allowed to discuss the case:

“The New England Wood Pellet case has been a long and complicated matter launched by a former client that turned into a nightmare. In my line of risk management and fraud detection work, an incident like the one I have experienced during the last year was likely to occur at a point in my career. When you are hired to uncover fraud, and then find it, sometimes an outcome like this one can happen. I am grateful that justice has been served in clearing my name from all charges. I am now able to move on from this experience and will continue to utilize my expertise in compliance and risk management work for the healthcare and insurance industry. I am grateful for my supporters in the business community who have stood by me during this difficult time. I look forward to continuing my career and life with a fresh start.”
