Business gave a cautious welcome to the Indian government’s landmark budget yesterday, highlighting its bid  to unify the country’s fragmented  markets.

“It’s the first time the Indian budget has laid out a road map for somebody’s vision. Vision is something (Narendra Modi) clearly has,” said Karan A Chanana, Chairman of the Amira Group.
