Hoverstick, a Swaziland-based startup focused on reshaping the future of gaming controllers, has joined FasterCapital’s Raise Capital program as it works toward raising $8.5M in funding. The company is building an innovative controller designed to solve long-standing ergonomic issues while moving beyond the traditional tilting mechanism. Hoverstick aims to significantly enhance the gaming experience across all platforms—consoles, PCs, mobile devices, and cloud gaming.
The Raise Capital program by FasterCapital will support Hoverstick in securing the necessary investment to advance development, manufacturing, and global market penetration.
"We are excited to support Hoverstick in their journey to redefine how people interact with games," commented Hesham Zreik, CEO of FasterCapital. "The team brings fresh ideas and a clear commitment to user well-being and innovation—two key elements we value in future-focused startups."
Zreik added, "Gaming is not only entertainment—it’s also a lifestyle and, increasingly, a profession. The need for ergonomic, intuitive, and performance-enhancing hardware has never been more urgent. Hoverstick is tackling this challenge head-on."
Korkut Tekerlek, Founder of Hoverstick, shared his perspective: "We’re thrilled to be partnering with FasterCapital at this pivotal stage. Their network and experience will be instrumental as we raise $8.5M to bring our next-generation gaming controller to players around the world. Our goal is to make gaming not only more immersive but healthier in the long run."
Hoverstick is now actively seeking investors aligned with their mission of reshaping the physical interface between player and game.
