Broken Arrow, Oklahoma: Goldendoodle Dandies, ‘hobby breeders’ of English cream Teddy- Bear, Parti and F1 / F1b standard and miniature goldendoodle, has recently expected a new litter of puppies that are due by some time around August end. The puppies will be ready for adoption by the end of October, just in time to celebrate Halloween with their new families. The litter is produced by Lllliana and Caesar and will be categorized as F1 standard English cream.

Often termed as a ‘designer dog’, the Goldendoodle is a hybrid dog breed, a mix of Poodle with Golden Retriever. Like any other ‘designer breeds’, the Goldendoodle is not a true breed of its own but rather a crossbreed. And in the case of the expected litter, which is F1 (first generation) standard, it means that puppies will be a mix of 50 percent purebred Golden Retriever and 50 percent purebred Poodle. By nature, a first generation Goldendoodle is affectionate, trainable, and intelligent. This makes the dog a great option for novice puppy parents who do not quite have the skills or time to train more aggressive, active, and stubborn breeds.

When it comes to inheriting traits, the traits of either the two parent breeds can be dominant in a first generation Goldendoodle. But generally, most first generation Goldendoodles are also healthy and low shedding. They usually have a shaggy coat with loose curls which they either don’t shed or shed only lightly. Families with mild allergies will not have any problem sharing the same living space with these dogs.

Speaking about her excitement, breeder Jana Cooley said, “Goldendoodles are great companions and they bring so much joy and excitement to their families. Their warm and affectionate companionship is heartwarming and therapeutic. And they really are the cutest dogs in the world. We’re praying that Lilliana stays healthy throughout the labor period so that the puppies can be safely delivered without any underlying health condition. If everything goes well, the puppies will be ready for adoption by the end of October.”
