Greater Noida, 15th November 2013: United Group of Institutions organized Tech fest “Mechanoid 2013”. The event was entirely organized by the Mechanical Engineering students with prime objective to provide a wholesome platform to celebrate the scientific temperament of the youth and to create scientific simulation and innovation.
A number of informative and fun filled programmes such as project exhibition, Facepint, Tech-holi, Mech-View, technical quiz, Mech-Benz (Auto Quiz), presentation, Junkyard wars, Group discussion, singing, poster drawings, t-shirt painting, counter strike, treasure hunt, Rangoli, Chess, Rodies competition were organized. The fest was well organized and co-ordinated by the final year students namely Vivek Sharma, Raghav Dubey, Harshit Shrivastava, Neeshu Chaturvedi, Sumit Srivastava, Manas Kapoor.
Chairman of UGI, Sh. G.G. Gulati presented prizes to the winners of all the respective competition and he blessed them for their bright career. He said that this type of event will increase the self confidence of the students and help the students to get notice in the world and show their talent to everyone. He further said that “In today’s world innovation is very important in every field and through this event they will learn a lot.”
