This valve should not be used with fluids that contain hazardous gases for safety purposes. It is specially designed to regulate flow in the direction as indicated by the arrow on the surface plate, and to close quickly when flow reversal sign is shown. They are compact and mechanically very easy to operate. These provide a tight sealing.
