These experiences are conducted on Yas Marina Circuit’s Drag Strip, which is 1.2 km long and is sanctioned by the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association). Each of these experiences has different features, track times, and cars that are allotted.

Features of Yas Marina Circuit’s Drag Experiences:

1. Drag Racing with The Chevrolet Camaro SS
The Chevrolet Camaro SS is one of the most highly preferred cars for drag racing in the world. It has a 6.2-litre V8 engine, a top speed of 265 km/h, a 6-speed paddle-shift transmission, and a horsepower of 455 BHP. The car can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.3 seconds.
As per the Yas Marina Circuit, their drag racing experience with Chevrolet Camaro SS is the perfect beginning for those who dream of becoming professional drag racers. In this experience, the participants will get 5 runs on the drag strip to go head-to-head against an opponent or race against time. Before the experience begins, instructors will brief the participants about the car’s controls, the track, safety, and the overall experience. They will also watch the participants’ performance at all times, and keep giving instructions via radio, when necessary.
To participate in this activity, all the drivers must be over the age of 19 years and should hold a valid driving license which is at least a year old. The participants who are between the ages of 19 and 25 years, should have held their license for at least 2 years. To be eligible, the height of participants should be between 155 to 195 cm, and their weight should not exceed 120 kg.

2. Yas Drag Roll Racing
The Yas Drag Roll Racing is where the participants have to bring in their own cars for drag racing at the Yas Marina Circuit. The experience is perfect for rookies, who wish to develop their acceleration and drag skills. The participants will go head-to-head with fellow drivers, after a round of briefing. The cars of the participants will have to go through a technical inspection conducted by the Yas Marina Circuit, to be eligible for the race. Due to safety reasons, open-wheeled formula cars and vehicles with either more or less than four wheels are strictly not permitted. The overall track time of this car drag race is about 4 hours, with the safety briefing and instructions.
To be eligible for participation in this experience, the drivers must be over 18 years of age and should hold a valid driving license that is at least a year old. They also need to sign a waiver form at registration to participate.

3. Yas Drag Night
The Yas Drag Night is an experience designed specifically for the participants to have a fun time on the circuit. For this experience too, they are required to bring in their own cars or bikes, which have to pass a technical inspection to be eligible. The participants then get the opportunity to push the limits of their vehicle on the drag strip, in a practice testing format. They also get a chance to go head-to-head against an opponent. Both the racers will be timed during the race. All the participants get 3 hours of total track time during the Yas Drag Night. During these 3 hours, they can take as many drag runs across the drag strip as they wish.
To be eligible for participation in this activity, the drivers must be over the age of 19 years and should hold a valid driving license that is at least a year old.


4. Ride the Chevrolet Camaro
The Chevrolet Camaro Ride is an experience where the participants have to take the passenger seat, while a professional drag racer takes the wheel. With this activity, people can experience drag racing with a Chevrolet Camaro without being in the driver’s seat. The participants will get one run on the drag strip in this experience. During the ride, the instructor will brief them about staging, braking zones, and the finish line. The duration of this entire experience, including registration, getting into safety gear, and the track time, is about 30 minutes.
To be eligible for this experience, the participants must be over the age of 14 years; their height should be between 150 to 195 cm, and their weight should not exceed 120 kg.
