Mallorca (Also known as Majorca) is the largest island is the Spain’s Balearic Islands located in Mediterranean sea. It’s known for beach resorts, sheltered coves, limestone mountains and Roman and Moorish remains. Capital Palma has a great nightlife, the Moorish Almudaina royal palace and 13th-century Santa María Cathedral. Stone-built villages include Pollença, with its art galleries and music festival, and hillside Fornalutx, surrounded by citrus plantations. Mallorca Mountain Range
The Serra de Tramuntana is a mountain range running southwest–northeast which forms the northern backbone of the Spanish island of Mallorca. The highest peak is the Puig Major, which, at 1,445 metres is the highest mountain in the Balearic Islands. However the Puig Major inaccessible due to a military zone at the peak of this mountain, in fact its neighbouring peak is the Puig de Massanella, which stands at 1,364 metres, and is known as the highest accessible peak on the island with tracks leading to its summit
Palma De Mallorca
Palma is a resort city and capital of the Spanish island of Mallorca, in the western Mediterranean. The massive Santa María cathedral, a Gothic landmark begun in the 13th century and overlooks the Bay of Palma. The adjacent Almudaina is a Moorish-style Arab fortress converted to a royal residence. West of the city, hilltop Bellver Castle is a medieval fortress with a distinctive circular shape. Palma has a great nightlife with 100 of bar and restaurants taking to the street in summer. With narrow cobbled street and a rich cultured old town, it is easy to understand why this is one of the most desirable places to live in Europe
