Who is Jarliama?
Born as Alejandra in Mexico City, Jarliama began her musical journey performing in local churches, where her powerful voice and natural charisma quickly caught the public's attention. Together with her brother Fernando, she formed the duo River & Lopez, gaining recognition in the music scene. Known for her versatility, Jarliama has won over audiences with songs like Move Shake, Boom Shakalaka, TikTok, and Wousha. Her latest hit, Ssswing!, is a celebration of 1970s rhythms, blending the carefree spirit of swing with contemporary electro-dance sounds.

In 2024, Jarliama further expanded her repertoire with the release of Feel It (Electro Swing Radio Mix) and Badabum, tracks that solidified her presence in the international music scene. Her most recent single, Little Trumpet, released in 2025, highlights her continuous artistic evolution and ability to experiment with new sounds.

Beyond her individual successes, Jarliama has contributed to several major compilations, including the MENDAKI COMPILATION in 2024 with the song Jamela, Nothing But... Pure Dance, Vol. 32 with a version of Boom Shakalaka, and Hit Mania Dance Estate 2024.

The Music Video: A Story of Rebirth and Self-Determination
The Boomerang music video was filmed in None, a town in the province of Turin, under the masterful artistic direction of Luana Catania, choreographer and director of Accademia Elle Ballet ASD, located at Via delle Aie, 10060 None, Italy. The video, conceptualized and edited by the talented Leonardo Tilatti, known as Leovideo, tells a touching and universal story.

Luana Catania: The Vision Behind the Choreography
Luana Catania is a choreographer and artistic director with a career dedicated to dance and teaching. With a degree in psycho-pedagogy and certification from the I.D.A. (International Dance Association), she founded Accademia Elle Ballet ASD in None, where she trains young talents in classical dance, hip-hop, and heels dance. Her passion and dedication have made the academy a key reference point for artistic training in the region.

The Video Cast
The video features talented dancers: Serena Falcone, Sara Nigro, Silvia Mattii (stage name Sissi), Martina Annecca, Clelia Policastro, Anna Rosa Mattii, Nadia Lifrusci, Denise Antonovici, and Luana Catania herself. The lead actors are Davide Alì and Luana Catania.
