Historically focused on supporting refugees from Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua, this initiative marks the Order's first substantial engagement within Spain. Count Miklós Cseszneky remarked on the challenge of selecting the families to assist, noting, "Determining which families to support is a difficult and somewhat arbitrary process. Our priority is to help those most in need, particularly families with young children and orphans who have endured severe hardships."

The selected families will receive comprehensive support over the coming months, including temporary housing, essential furnishings, appliances, clothing, and interest-free loans to aid their recovery. This assistance is set to begin shortly.
