"Our clothes have memories", Grams' says, "and turning those cherished pieces into heirloom and keepsake items brings a new sense of comfort to others."

When she began sewing at the age of sever years old, Stephanie Grams, had no idea just how those sewing skills would be used when she became an adult.

It was early 2017 when Grams' began sharing her custom made mixed media art dolls on social media, that a request came from a stranger came through asking her if she would make several memory bears out of the grandfather's clothing. It was then that Grams' realized just how her important those sewing talents would be for fellow hurting individuals.

Grams' is no stranger to devastating heartbreak that no parent wants to experience, having suffered a miscarriage in 1993 and then the sudden death of her youngest daughter, 14-month old Hannah Grace in 2001, Grams' would reach for the sewing machine to help her through the stages of grief.

"I opened my Ohio-based limited liability company titled "Sewing with STEAM", Grams' says, "STEAM stands for Sewing Together Encouragement and Meaning, which is what I do when I create these custom, one of a kind memory bears and sentimental sewing business."

Grams' has recently self-published a book titled "The Ultimate Guide for Memory Bear and Sentimental Sewing Business Owners"; offering tips and resources that she could not find when first offering these sewing services, sharing valuable tips, and resources of starting, marketing, and growing your own memory bear and sentimental sewing business.

As Stephanie continues to expand her memory bear and sentimental sewing services which include additional stuffed animals, ornaments, wall quilts, and personalization service; she is excited to offer business consulting to aspiring, new, or struggling fellow memory bear sewing service business owners.
