Metro Safety Training offers hands-on first-aid courses to individuals to prepare them for various roadside or workplace incidents.

Coquitlam, British Columbia (17-Dec-2021): First aid is the immediate medical care given to an injured or unwell person by a non-medical but trained individual before professional medical assistance arrives. First aid greatly improves the chances of survival for a victim. Metro Safety recognizes this and, as a result, provides hands-on first aid courses in Canada.
Metro Safety has been providing first aid training courses since its establishment in 2008. The institution helps individuals learn first aid skills and traiiins them to be able to apply it in real-life situations. The first aid training courses vary from level 1 (beginner) to level 3 (advanced). After completing the hands-on training period and passing a written and practical test, the student is certified by the institution.
They have provided numerous training and first aid programs to British Columbians, ranging from occupational first aid training, CPR, and emergency first aid training. Students who complete the course will be awarded a Red Cross Standard first aid certification.
A spokesperson at Metro Safety explains their mission "First Aid courses are not only required for medical professionals, but they are also required for peace of mind. We think that everyone should get this life-saving training because you never know when it may be useful."
According to the most recent data on occupational health and safety in Canada, workplaces are getting less safe. The 2020 Report on Work Fatality and Injury Rates in Canada, released on April 27, shows that 1,027 people died from work-related injuries in 2018, increasing by 76 from 2017.
Along with first aid training, Metro Safety has been effectively educating and training individuals for workplace safety as well. They provide hands-on first aid training in the workplace, and all of their emergency first aid courses have been designed and recognized by the Canadian Red Cross.
