The Yas Marina Circuit of Abu Dhabi has been quite popular among motorsport fans for its community experiences. Besides hosting the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, its activities such as race car driving and passenger experiences for its visitors, are what attract a lot of people. After all, driving or riding on a Grand Prix track is a dream for many. The Formula 1 circuit also expands on this dream and offers some of the most powerful and potent sports cars for its experiences of driving a race car and taking a passenger ride. Its list of sports has also gotten a few new additions in recent times.

Newest Additions to Yas Marina Circuit’s Community Experience Cars

1. Alfa Romeo Guilia Quadrifoglio
The Alfa Romeo Guilia Quadrifoglio is one of the newest additions to Yas Marina Circuit’s list of sports cars. It has a massive horsepower of 510 BHP and a top speed of 307 km/h. Its specifications also include a 2.9-litre V6 Bi-Turbo engine and. 8-speed automatic transmission. This Alfa Romeo model is the only sedan in the world which has an active aero splitter. The car can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
The Alfa Romeo Guilia Quadrifoglio is offered for Yas Marina Circuit’s drive experience and passenger experience. Both the experiences with the Alfa Romeo are conducted on the North Corkscrew track of YMC, which is about 2.29 km long.
To participate in this driving experience, the driver must be at least 19 years old and should have a valid driving license, that is at least a year old. Also, the height of the participants must be between 155 - 195 cm and their weight must not exceed 120 kg. For the passenger experience, the participants must be over the age of 14 years. Their height must be between 150 - 195 cm and their weight must not exceed 120 kg. The drive experience can last for about 90 minutes, while the passenger experience can last for about 45 minutes.

2. Porsche Taycan Turbo
The Porsche Taycan Turbo is also a recent addition to Yas Marina Circuit’s list of sports cars. It is an electric vehicle that offers its drivers a detailed insight into their driving experience. This is achieved by the car’s inbuilt biometric readers, which monitor the driver’s heart rate, blood pressure, brain activity, emotions, and nervous impulses during their drive. After the drive, the drivers can view this data via their personalised 3D avatar. This car also has an enormous horsepower of 607 BHP and a top speed of 260 km/h. Its specs include an 800-volt architecture and an overboost of up to 500kW, activated with Launch Control.
The Yas Marina Circuit offers the Porsche Taycan Turbo for both, driving and passenger experiences. Both these experiences are conducted on the North Corkscrew track. Both the experiences include 6 laps on the track - the first 2 for familiarization with the track and controls, the next 2 for the use of Launch Control, and the last 2 for speeding.

All of Yas Marina Circuit’s driving and passenger experiences are conducted in a safe and controlled environment. The participants are also given briefings regarding the car controls and track safety before they proceed to the F1 car driving circuit. They will also be fitted with safety gear which includes a helmet, balaclava, and gloves. For passenger experiences too, the participants will receive a safety briefing in Yas Marina Circuit’s Racing School.
