Hands-on Training on Expression and Purification of Recombinant Proteins:

This hands-on training aimed to upskill participants on tools and techniques involved in the Expression and Purification of Recombinant Proteins. It will be a 5-days training program, and it consists of lectures from experts and hands-on training on different methodologies. All training sessions will be highly interactive with different assignments for the participants. A quiz will be conducted at the end of the training and winners will be awarded exciting prizes.

Summary:
Recombinant DNA technology (RDT) comprises the joining of two DNA molecules outside of an organism followed by the expression of recombinant DNA into a suitable organism. This technique involves cutting and pasting the gene of interest into suitable vectors followed by the transformation of recombinant vector DNA into an appropriate host to obtain the desirable products (i.e. recombinant proteins). RDT has revolutionized modern science as many FDA-approved protein-based therapeutics have been developed by this technique. This hands-on training program aims to build skills in young researchers on various tools and techniques involved in the production and purification of recombinant proteins.
