Registered dietitian Colleen Tewksbury, a senior research investigator at the University of Pennsylvania and a spokesperson for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics explains what factors cause weight gain. And the director of the Rutgers Applied Metabolism and Physiology Laboratory, called the study an illuminating discovery that may explain what factors are contributing to the obesity epidemic.
