It was in the early 2000s that Ekta Kapoor became a household name with her daily soaps. Over time, many shows are released by different directors, with one thing being constant – A bahu who is Sarva Gun Sampan. But after two decades the things are a bit changed and that had to be as change is the only constant.

Sasural Simar Ka

While the show started with a decent story, soon the case was totally opposite; the characters started turning into flees, bees, mosquitoes, spirits, we had almost lost the track. The theatrical antics have baffled us each time we open the show by mistake. No offence to the makers, but this is cringe to another extent.

Naagin

Yes, you just heard that right. Women turning into snakes and daughters and sons of snakes make us go; what is going on in the flying world? Also, they are making seasons after seasons, please someone stop them before there is a mongoose and they are fighting it. I can totally imagine this happening. Do you too?

Saath Nibhana Saathiya

Gopi bahu, Rashi, and Kokila ben are stars of the year, with “rasode me kon tha?” We really want to know who is paying the plot writers the amount of money to write about laptop ki dhulai, cooker me se chane nikal ke khali cooker gas pe kisne chadaya? I mean, what is that sounds like a story in it!

Divya Drishti

The show is about two sisters Divya and Drishti, who had supernatural powers, yes supernatural powers of being flies, mosquitoes, and eagles – NO, NONE OF THESE! One of the leads could turn into a lizard. And we keep our pens down, Coz we are seriously short of words now.

Nazar

Nazar is a supernatural thriller show; well, that is what they actually say the show is about. Black magic, evil eyes, witches, spirits… ok ok! We cannot even go forward with this. Cringe to the power cringe; that is how hilariously annoying this show is.

Dear daily soap makers, you have converted Hindi TV series into low-key Animal Planet, so please get over your obsession with these painfully ridiculous plots because we are done!
