The new Grand Lange 1 Moon Phase is a refined looking watch cased in pink, yellow or platinum that measures a slender 41mm x 9.5mm. This moon phase is highly accurate, going 122.6 years without needing any adjustments, thanks to some special mechanical configuration.

Specifically, the moon display is connected with the hour-wheel continuum and thus constantly in motion though in increments are so small they cannot be detected by the naked eye.

One of three new models that Glashutte, Germany-based A. Lange & Söhne will unveil in 2014, the Grand Lange 1 is getting a moon phase indicator.

The heart of the watch is Lange’s L095.3 caliber, a slim (4.7mm) manual-wind movement with 72 hr power reserve. It is decorated in the typical, exceptional Lange fashion.
