[March 2025] – Zazie Productions, a prolific and visionary outsider in Gen Z’s experimental music underground, is launching The Vanishing Point Syndicate, a new NetLabel dedicated to the most forward-thinking and unclassifiable sonic artists. The label’s debut release, Dissonance Index Vol. 1, is an expansive compilation featuring artists from Spain, Uruguay, France, the U.S., and beyond, blending noise, industrial, drone, glitch, electroacoustic, and avant-garde experimental soundscapes. Expected to drop in May 2025, the compilation will feature between 20 and 60 artists, bringing much-needed exposure to creators working in the murkier depths of the underground.
A NetLabel, a concept that has emerged with Bandcamp’s rise, operates entirely online, forgoing physical releases while maintaining the artistic curation of a traditional record label. The Vanishing Point Syndicate follows this model, positioning itself as a decentralized hub for artists working outside conventional structures. With a focus on sound innovation rather than trends, Dissonance Index Vol. 1 aims to document a moment in underground experimental music where sonic boundaries are pushed beyond recognition.
Among the confirmed artists are KATASTROF, DJ Zifferoni, Pleasure of Decay, Orchis Basilica, Open Casket Soundsystem, PIGPEN, KOSEKOMPIS, Senkos Enema, and Zazie Productions—all of whom represent different strains of radical sound experimentation. From fractured industrial noise to haunting electroacoustic textures, the compilation reflects the growing global network of artists reshaping the landscape of avant-garde sound.
With its May 2025 release approaching, Dissonance Index Vol. 1 is already gaining momentum as a landmark experimental compilation. Submissions remain open, but with limited slots available, the final lineup is quickly taking shape.
