As a cyber security professional who worked on social media campaigns throughout his career, joining the council of the International Cyber Threat Task Force was a great honor for Omar Todd. The non-profit organization’s mission is to create and organize a community of cyber security experts and enthusiasts who together form an alliance that can effectively counter the attacks of cyber criminals. Since the “bad guys” work in a network, helping each other achieve their goals, ICTTF came up with the idea of creating one of their own.

ICTTF allows people from all over the world to share their ideas, helping not just the organization and its members, but also the billions of people who create today’s vast and ever increasing global online community. The positive measures taken by these individuals, and the organizations they represent, can all benefit, and so the International Cyber Threat Task Force works to cultivate an environment where all of this is possible. By sharing their ideas with each other and working collaboratively, they create an effective measure against cyber threats.

As the council member, Omar Todd helps the system both directly and indirectly. By offering security tools and techniques with his colleagues, he helps the members of his organization to meet their objectives. As he so eloquently puts it

“The ICTTF International Cyber Threat Task Force is the antithesis of the online criminal networks. We cooperate in order to share, help, and collaborate to defeat cyber threats of all kinds. Cyber threats are global in nature, and being able to connect with the right people in the right location can be half the challenge.”

The International Cyber Threat Task Force relies on Omar’s abilities in a variety of ways, as a social media consultant, a social media manager, a non-profit marketing expert, a social media speaker, a non-profit marketing speaker, and of course as a cyber security expert who is well-versed in state of the art countermeasures. Omar Todd has been a part of the organization for quite some time now, and hopes that their collective effort will continue to help people around the world for a long time.
