Pissouri Bay Divers are a reputable and dependable company that introduce their customers to a world below the surface of the ocean. It is mesmerising and the tranquillity and peace underwater is beautiful. When diving at the wrecks in Limassol the guests will see several types of marine life as this is part of a fish reserve.

Diving in Limassol the wrecks have some of the greatest dive sites in Cyprus. An artificial reef was formed in 2014. The sinking of the Costandis and the Lady Thetis was to increase the tourist trade and encourage more divers to visit Cyprus.

The Costandis lies at 23m and is suitable for all levels of diving enthusiasts. She was a 30m trawler from Russia and she is lying with her top deck uppermost. The Constandis wreck at Limassol has become the home of a number of different fish including Amberjacks, Damselfish, Trumpet Fish, Turtles, and Morays.

Steve Theakston Owner of Pissouri Bay Divers added “There have been sightings of dolphins in the vicinity of the Limassol wrecks but the king of the Costandis is a massive Grouper who has been fondly named George. He enjoys touring the wreck with us as a perfect host. We do warn our customers to be aware of the many Lionfish in the area and suggest giving them a wide berth.”

The buoys attached to the Costandis are on the port side and one off the bow these are permanent and for the safety of divers. It is advisable to note that strong currents can be present surrounding the Constandis.

The second wreck at Limassol is Lady Thetis; she is in 18m of water and home to abundant marine life. The 30m passenger vessel has proven to be a very interesting and exciting dive site. Sightings of shoals of fish such as 2 banded bream and the saddle bream as well as turtles and moray eels.

This Limassol wreck is a very popular dive for the Pissouri dive team offering open
water diving. Lady Thetis has two buoys to mark her presence and can be visible from the line of the buoys. There are a lot of sharp objects, so it is advised to be very careful and stay close to the dive team.
