Mr. Dinesh Advani, son of the founder of the company, identified huge opportunities for Powermaster products in the USA while he was pursuing higher studies there.

Thus, in the 1990s, efforts were made to expand the distribution of Powermaster products in global markets and rendering the Tube tool division as the biggest in the world. In the early 2000s, it made strong efforts to move up the value chain and introduce new products.

With the rise of the petroleum and oil refining industry in India, there was rising demand for tools like Flange spreading equipment, Nut cutters and Bolt tensioners, an opportunity which the company grabbed.

The product line of Bolt tensioners displayed exceptional growth, leading to sub-product lines like tensioners for Windmills, Sub Sea flanges and Turbines, and other special applications.

The company also found that there were many customers who did not wish to invest their precious money to buy such expensive equipment. Therefore, Powermaster offered customers the opportunity to rent tools and equipment. As such, rental remains a high-growth market with a promising future.

In 2005, the company introduced another promising vertical in the form of pipe and tube facing as well as bevelling machine, which was ideal for existing customers. In 2011, the company launched a product line of Hydraulic Torque wrenches. Powermaster was thus able to deliver products for the most complicated needs of customers. For example, it offers the best quality tube sheet hole reamer in the tube installation product line.
