Canadian government initiated the “Family Class Sponsorship” to reunite the children and parents. So the dependent children of Canadian residents can invite their children who are living abroad to Canada and stay with them permanently.
Who can Apply?
• To sponsor your child's Canada Immigration one must fulfill the below criteria.
• Minimum age of 18 years
• Be a registered Indian under the Indian Act of Canada or a Canadian Citizen or have a Canadian Permanent Resident ship status.
• Be able to provide for your basic needs, those of your dependent child, and, if applicable, those of your spouse;
• Prove the relationship between parents and child
• No criminal record. That means one must not be imprisoned, not be charged with a crime, and not be bankrupt;
• Not violate a prior sponsorship contract;
• Not be under immigration investigation
• Not requiring financial assistance, unless they are disabled
The undertaking is valid for 10 years or until the age of 25 for Canadian-dependent children under the age of 22. If the dependent child is older than 22, the commitment lasts for three years.
Dependent Children Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for sponsorship, a child must be dependent, which implies that they must:
• Be under the age of 22 who is not married or cohabitating and is a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or that sponsor’s spouse.
• Children older than 22 may be regarded as dependents in the following circumstances:
 If they suffer from a physical or mental ailment, that makes it impossible for them to maintain themselves
How to Sponsor Dependent Child for Canada Immigration?
Step 1: Check the eligibility and make sure you're qualified to sponsor your child.

Step 2: Confirm the eligibility of the child you wish to sponsor.

Step 3: If you live in Quebec, you must submit your application to the Ministry of Immigration, Francization and Integration at the provincial level as well as to the Ministry of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) at the federal level (MIFI). You must simultaneously submit your request for sponsorship as well as for your child’s permanent residency (PR) status. Once you receive the approval to sponsor, your PR application will be reviewed.

Step 4: You must pay the family sponsorship application fee which is, $150/child*.
