The American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance (AAMSI) announced today that it has achieved a targeted milestone for the organization’s website.

“Website traffic during the first quarter of 2023 is up a record 84 percent,” reports Jesse Slome, director of the organization. The Association previously reported that 2022 total website visits had reached a record.

Slome noted that the website has become the favored portal used by seniors to connect with local Medicare insurance agents. The Association’s Find A Local Medicare Insurance Agent online directory accounts for over three quarters of the visits according to Slome.

“Medicare is a national program but plan options are local, something we are working to make more seniors aware of," Slome notes. "The constant bombardment of Medicare television advertising and online solicitations is confusing many seniors,” Slome notes. “Increasingly, they are looking for impartial local experts, first for information and guidance.”

AAMSI makes available the leading online national directory listing local Medicare insurance agents. “Many professional Medicare agents offer the full gamut of available options from Medicare Advantage to Medigap as well as Medicare prescription drug plans," the AAMSI director explains. "Depending on where you live, you could have anywhere from 30 to 70 different companies offering you different coverages.
