Phillip Meisinger, Self Made Millionaire, Entrepreneur and Success Advisor/Speaker turns dreams into reality by making a pledge to donate $50,000 to Ronald McDonald House Charities (www.rhmc.org), Feed My Starving Children, And a Host of Other Charities, and stated the obvious, “It is better to give than receive.”

Phil Meisinger is the President and owner of Empowered Lives Inc. (www.empoweredlivesinc.com). RWe were able to speak with Phil regarding this business and questioned him as to the sudden motivation of giving and how that has affected him. He stated, “While I recognize that while this pledge is large, not to mention the fact that it has been made public in such a fashion, there is nothing sudden about it. I mean do you really think that this [recent] giving by Bill Gates and Warren Buffet is the first time they have done so? Heck no, giving and receiving is a reciprocal affair, and one that is never ending.”

Bill Gates, Warren Buffet I said? He chuckled and reiterated, “Let me be clear, I am in no way comparing myself to them, obviously. Rather I am alluding to the fact that recently the media has made such a to do about their giving. I suspect that this has been going on with them and their families for a long time. Look, this is not my conclusion. History has repeatedly shown that he who gives also receives in abundance. Again, we are not only talking about money. This is in all areas of life.”

Phil Meisinger has been fortunate enough to make millions of dollars and affect the lives of many throughout his lifetime. Phil alluded to this fact in a recent discussion by stating, “The businesses and activities I am engaged in are not about making money, they are about helping others achieve the abundance in their lives that they have been looking for. Trust me when I say, if you put others first, you will be rewarded beyond your wildest dreams.”

Phil chuckled and went on, “I mean, don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against making money, I love to make money, but it can not be the intention. It is a byproduct of the intention.” I asked him to expand. “It is the intention to give and help others prosper that drives my passion, and my passion drives my actions, and my actions create results, which further fuels my passion and so on, this is a circle of life thing……am I making sense?”

As time was short, we asked Phil to summarize why Ronald these particular charities. “Well there are so many reasons, many of which are very personal, and the content of which would be too long for this interview. But basically the Ronald McDonald Homes across the nation give the families of seriously ill children the opportunity to stay closer to them [the children] during their hospital stays. As you may know, when a child is struck with a serious illness, the greatest level of care may be in a different state at a specialty clinic or hospital and well, while the insurance may cover the expenses for the healthcare, it will not cover travel and room and board for the families. For me, there are few things in life that touch my heart as much as children. Add in the fact that they may be dying and that their families cannot afford to be by their side to offer prayers and support, and it gets really ugly.”

Phil went on to state, "And as for Feed My Starving Children and the other charities, hunger is something that has always really bothered me on a very primal level. I mean, we are talking about the basic needs of life here [food and shelter] and there is no excuse that people in our own town, in our own community, and around the world should not have the basic necessities of life. It's just not comprehensible to me that 18,000 people a day die due to lack of these necessities. I aim to do what I can to change those numbers, and I think everybody should as well."

We asked Phil if he wanted to conclude with anything. He said, “Sure, you know, I mean make the most of every minute and start to live your dreams today. Life is very fragile and fleeting. Remember to always give back and you will be blessed with abundance.”
