Formal desserts are accompanied by espresso cups ready to caffeinate the hungry coffee bean lover. The espresso cups are placed with a cube of brown sugar accompanied by one twist of lemon rind and baby spoon. It is customary to have multiple espresso cups since a new cup is given upon each pour. Make sure all glasses set on the table are at the 3 O’clock position of the dinner plate, starting with the water glasses first, followed by the wine glasses and after clearing the entrees, the espresso cups.
