St. Andrew Catholic Church in Sumner is holding a rummage sale Friday March 14 through Sunday March 16 to raise funds for the parish youth to make a pilgrimage to Rome and celebrate World Youth Day this summer.
“We are praying for a large turnout, from our parishioners and the local community, to support our young people in this Jubilee Year of Hope,” said Catherine Tangen, Pastoral Assistant for Youth Faith Formation at St. Andrew Church. “We are also looking for donations of gently used household items to help make the rummage sale a success.”
The rummage sale will take place on the following days and times:
• Friday, March 14, from 1pm to 6pm
• Saturday, March 15, from 9am to 4:30pm
• Sunday, March 16, from 9am to 2pm
The parish office is accepting donations of household goods and small furniture pieces that are clean and undamaged. Electronic items and appliances should be in working condition. Clothing donations will be limited to infant and toddler sizes only. Donations may be dropped off Wednesday, March 12 from 5 to 7pm, Thursday March 13 from 9am to 6pm and Friday, March 14 from 9am to 1pm.
For those who plan to attend and shop, please bring cash for your purchases.
