Since 1997, Chad Audi has created positive change in his community through his work at Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries. Chad Audi has held a number of positions at DRMM, and is proud to be celebrating his 16th year with the organization.

Chad Audi started in the Finance Department in 1997, and quickly received a promotion to Vice President of Finance and Administration. After several years in this role, he was promoted again to Chief Operating Office. Finally, in 2005, Chad Audi was appointed as Chief Executive Officer and President. Chad Audi continues to serve in this role and thoroughly enjoys his work. After his promotion to CEO and President, Chad Audi implemented a highly successful financial solvency plan for DRMM which has resulted in several million dollars’ worth of revenue for the agency. It was recently quoted that DRRM generates $24,000,000 in annual profits, which Chad Audi has successfully managed for 8 years.

Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries has been a staple in the greater Detroit area since 1909. Although over 100 years have passed since its inception, its mission and vision have remained the same during its history: to help underserved residents and communities of Detroit. DRMM serves a range of populations, including but not limited to, the homeless, children and families, substance users, and incarcerated men and women. DRMM is the 13th largest treatment program in the United States, and is the largest non-profit recipient of housing grants.

When he first learned about DRMM, Chad Audi was immediately interested in its services. He explains, “Prior to discovering DRMM, I had seen few agencies with such comprehensive services. I’m continually impressed by all the resources that we provide for Detroit residents.” Some of these services include emergency shelters for homeless residents, transitional housing, substance abuse treatment, summer camps for at-risk youth, spiritual and religious services, and vocational services.

Chad Audi knows that DRMM truly makes a difference in the local community. He is proud to be leading that change, and states, “I’m excited to see where we will be in the future, whether it’s one or ten years from now.”
