The upcoming Windows 10 Operating System from Microsoft has a lot of people excited.

Microsoft has a new operating system coming out, and it is called Windows 10. It is the latest evolution of their popular operating system and a follow-up to Windows 8. Christopher Abatangelo is a Microsoft certified professional and eight meeting information technology specialist that consults with some companies around the country. He is very much in touch with Windows 10 and all that it will be coming with. There are number of cool features that he feels are going to change truly the fortunes of the Windows operating system that has taken a bit of a beating for its results in Windows 8. The first thing that is clear to the casual observer is that the Windows Metro screen has been pushed to the side. The operating system has gone back to its roots and the desktop environment.

Also returning is the start menu that was a sore point for a lot of people truly missed this iconic feature of the classic window systems. There is still an element of the live tile functionality which can still be integrated into the Windows 10 interface. The Metro apps that once took over an entire screen are now windowed which means that you no longer have to give up the entire system to one app the way that Windows 8 did. A number of other new interesting features including a new browser, revamp mail and apps, and further interface features are sure to please the audience that is eagerly awaiting the next generation of this popular operating system. One of the most intriguing elements is the introduction of Cortana into the Windows environment. This clever digital assistant is coming to the desktop, and it is designed to help you find a variety of online information using text or voice commands and natural language. It can also search your hard drive, cloud drives and business network for files that satisfy certain filters that you prescribed. Scheduled for release in 2015, there is an expectation and anticipation that the new operating system will boost personal computer sales. This is certainly in the realm of possibility given that there is a long history of this, and there has been a drive towards unifying the mobile operating system with the desktop operating systems.
