Venable is an American Lawyer 100 law firm that has offices in nine states throughout the United States. He is a partner at the law firm. Prior to his employment at Venable, he worked for McDermott, Will, and Emery, where he joined in 1999 and eventually became a partner.

He is widely recognized throughout the legal community for his extensive accomplishments in his field. He has been named by the Super Lawyers publication as a 'Rising Star' in the years 2007, 2009, 2013, and 2014.
