Gayla Shrader, a Native American woman who lives and works in the state of Alabama, is proud of her heritage and hopes to educate others about it

Gayla Shrader has made a name for herself in her community as someone who is always willing to educate others about the issues and concerns facing Native Americans today. This is because Gayla Shrader is a proud member of the Echota Cherokee Tribe of Southern Alabama and she has dedicated her life to helping other people understand all about her culture.

“My desire to educate others about the issues that currently face Native Americans was incredibly logical as far as I am concerned,” Gayla Shrader recently explained to members of the press. “I am extremely proud of my heritage, and I absolutely love taking any opportunity that I possibly can to teach others more about it.”

Gayla Shrader says that she first began educating others about her Native American culture when she was a student at the University of Southern Alabama. While she was a student, Gayla Shrader sat on the board for a number of different organizations that were concerned with Native American rights and issues. Additionally, Gayla Shrader founded several student organizations for Native American students at the University of Southern Alabama.

Gayla Shrader also worked as a docent in a museum dedicated to Native American issues and history. Gayla Shrader says that it was during her time working at the museum that she became passionate about educating others about Native American issues and culture.

“While I was working at the museum, I realized that very few people knew anything about the culture of the Native American tribes in their local area,” Gayla Shrader recently explained to members of the press. “It was at that point in time that I realized that it was up to me to help educate people in my community about Native American culture.”

After her experience in college, Gayla Shrader realized that she needed to throw herself into helping people in her community learn more about Native American culture. Gayla Shrader is quick to say that she does this because she is so proud of her culture and would like other people around her to recognize the beauty and interest that her culture brings to the community.
