As a manager at DAI, Rome was tasked with project oversight in a dozen different emerging markets, performing audits, global consumer insight focus groups, and collaborating with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). She was appointed overseas assignments in Latin America, South America, Eastern Europe, Asia and Africa. Through her work with DAI, Rome also had the opportunity to further demonstrate the mentioned skills as the expatriate Director of Operations and Finance in Venezuela where she focused on international development in collaboration with the American Embassy and United States Ambassador, as well as in-depth financial and operational management.

She holds two undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degrees in Sociology and International Affairs, and a Certificate from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in conjunction with George Washington University (GWU). She earned her Master’s in Global Management from the world’s number one school of international management, Thunderbird School of Global Management. Rome also completed an MBA at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business (IU). Her academic achievements earned her membership to a number of honour societies including Pi Gamma Mu for Social Science, Pi Sigma Alpha for Political Science, and Mortar Board for Leadership and Academic Excellence. Rome has served on collegiate boards of student government, and a university board of academic appeals for professional and academic integrity.
