Mariko Dormer went on the trip of a lifetime, he is an office administrator who lives and works in Toronto, Ontario. She enjoys many activities that she can engage in her local community

A number of years ago, Mariko Dormer had gotten a taste of what it’s like to explore other countries. Her first trip abroad was a semester at sea during her first year of college, where she got to see other parts of North America, including the Caribbean. The new lifestyles and cultures she learned while down there inspired her to go further, so she trekked around South America shortly after graduating. Once that trip was over, she had realized how insatiable her travel bug truly was and she decided to act on it.

So her next step was to buy a one-way plane ticket to South Africa, with a goal that involved touring more than one continent. She spent a week in South Africa, and then headed north though Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Kenya and more before reaching the shores of Alexandria, Egypt. She took the appropriate amount of time in Egypt to tour the pyramids and have some of the valuable experiences before hopping on a plane to Morocco, which would be the last flight she would take for some time.
After spending some time in Casablanca and falling in love with Morocco, Mariko Dormer started to get too comfortable, and knew that she had to keep moving. She boarded the ferry to Spain, and was quickly re-introduced to the Latin culture that she had familiarized herself with while in South America. Her days in Spain were filled with wine, beaches, tapas and nightlife that doesn’t quit until the sun comes up. After Spain, she crossed into France and toured around Paris and the Riviera. She then went to Switzerland, where she became curious about ski culture but never truly embraced it until she had crossed into Austria and become friends with a professional snowboarder out there. She had scored herself quality lessons for free, helping her hone a talent that she never knew she had.

The rest of her Europe trip was extensive and nonetheless fulfilling. She went to Germany, Croatia, Norway, Finland, Ireland and Great Britain before hopping on a plane to go explore another continent: Asia. There, she learned about the languages and cultures in China, Japan, South Korea and Thailand.
