Jeannie Suzanna Pate, a Seattle-based pediatric nurse, was recently applauded for her outstanding dedication to nursing excellence.

 
Nursing is a complex field that requires skill, patience, and a high level of compassion. Although many compassionate individuals are attracted to the field, it takes a special person to devote their life to helping others. While there are many skilled nurses in the world, only a handful of nursing professionals continuously demonstrate enthusiasm, leadership, and a dedication to excellence in nursing practice. Jeannie Suzanna Pate, an experienced pediatric nurse based in Seattle, was recently praised for her dedication to nursing excellence.

In the fifteen years since Jeannie Suzanna Pate began her nursing career, she has positively impacted the lives of thousands. Regarding her recently received praise for nursing excellence, Jeannie Suzanna Pate had this to say: “I always knew I wanted to help others and I feel nursing gives me the opportunity to do that every day.” Jeannie Suzanna Pate is described by her peers as having an unwavering dedication to patient health. As a valuable member of her team, Jeannie Suzanna Pate is known for her ability to lead others, problem solve complex situations, and provide support whenever needed.

As a child growing up in Eugene, Oregon, Jeannie Suzanna Pate received personal experience coping with chronic illness as she was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes at the age of six. As a result of her struggles with diabetes, Jeannie Suzanna Pate reports becoming inspired to be a nurse at a young age. Before she graduated high school, Jeannie Suzanna Pate volunteered in nursing homes. Jeannie Suzanna Pate recalls that her experiences volunteering were rewarding and knew the field of nursing would allow her to help others.

For the past fifteen years, Jeannie Suzanna Pate has devoted her professional life to exhibiting excellence in her career. When asked about her goals for the future, Jeannie Suzanna Pate had this to say: “I have a short term goal to join the Peace Corps, but I eventually want to earn my master’s degree to become a nurse educator.” Jeannie Suzanna Pate is aware of the need for skilled medical professionals across the globe and plans to enter the Peace Corps within the next two years.
