This is easy to understand considering the continued portrayal by the media and others of the other branches of the United States Armed Forces. The Coast Guard perhaps gets the least amount of press. As an honored Guardsman in the Coast Guard for over four years, Justin Krashefski is able to show and instruct people just how necessary professional Coast Guardsman are to the safety and continued security of the United States.

As a branch of the United States military, the Coast Guard provides the United States a undeniable valuable, important, and essential service. For Justin Krashefski his service was all about eliminating potential threats to make sure his fellow countrymen could remain safe and protected. Justin Krashefski was honored to receive several awards during his tenure in the Coast Guard. Justin often went above and beyond his call of duty, which allowed him to serve as an example of honor and patriotism to his fellow service members.

Though Justin Krashefski’s active duty tenure ended in 2005, he was actively involved in the USCG Reserves until 2009. The reserves provide dedicated personnel a great way to remain involved in the military for years after their active service is over. Justin Krashefski would have liked to serve longer in the Guard and would sign up again if he were given the chance.
