Foxtail Fest is the first music festival of its kind in Wilmington, Delaware. On September 14, 2013, musicians from all over the world will converge in Delaware to support sustainability and social awareness at Foxtail Fest. Foxtail Fest will incorporate local performing artists and artists from around the world on two stages. Foxtail Fest has chosen a great mix of up and coming artists ranging from hip hop, electronic and indie music including featured artists Machine Gun Kelly and Chill Moody.

The concept of Foxtail Fest is to link these genres together as music is becoming increasingly more genre-bending. Foxtail Fest and the musicians who are performing want to lead this emerging culture that is promoting social responsibility. Promoting positive aspects like sustainability and social awareness through music has been the driving force behind Foxtail Fest.

Machine Gun Kelly will be one of the headline performers at Foxtail Fest. In March 2009, Machine Gun Kelly had consecutive victories at the Apollo Theater, making him the first ever white rapper to win in that venue.

Chill Moody will also be making an appearance at Foxtail Fest. Chill Moody is a young hip hop artist from Philadelphia. In 2012 made history by being the first hip hop artist to have a concert at Philadelphia’s City Hall courtyard. Chill Moody is just one of the talented young artists who will be lending his talents to Foxtail Fest for the promotion of social awareness.

Kevin Morris is a social activist and concert goer. He knows the impact that music can make in a life. “Music has always had the power to bring people together and change the world. From Woodstock to Live Aid and now Foxtail Fest music has the ability to bring out the best in society and encourage people to work together.”

With over twenty local and national Hip Hop, Electronic, and Indie Rock coming to Foxtail Fest music is sure to make a difference in all of the festival attendees.
