Ramona Santos Ojeda is proud to be celebrating her participation in several half marathon-running events in her lifetime. Ramona Santos Ojeda is a woman who believes that running is a great way to stay healthy and to get in shape. She has been participating in running events for the last several years, as she finds it to be personally satisfying, as well as a good thing for her community.

Ramona Santos Ojeda has been running for many years on her own, but she has also been a part of many half marathon-running events, as well as several running clubs. Ramona Santos Ojeda says, “I have always felt that being healthy was a vital part of living a happy and enriched life. Since I was young, I have enjoyed running a great deal. When I became older, I realized that running could also be used to support causes and raise awareness of all kinds of social concerns.

Ramona Santos Ojeda continues, “For the last few years, I have enjoyed running in a variety of half marathons and other running events. One of the fondest memories I have is of the Half Sauer Half Kraut Half Marathon running event. You see, I have spent several years abroad in Germany, so when I heard about this German themed event, I knew I had to participate. What I didn’t know at the time, was that people would be participating in lederhosen, and that yodeling would even be encouraged!”

Ramona Santos Ojeda has participated in other running events at a major theme park located in Orlando, Florida. Earlier in 2013, Ramona Santos Ojeda participated in what is known as the Disney Princess Half Marathon. This event was particularly fun for her, as the famous Disney Princesses cheered her on. Ramona Santos Ojeda has also participated in a spookier version of a Disney run known as The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror 10-Miler, where all of Disney’s “not so scary” characters filled the streets.

Ramona Santos Ojeda is proud of all of the causes that she has been able to support while running. Ramona Santos Ojeda is looking forward to many more runs to come.
