Tony Arterburn Speaks About Serving In The Armed Forces

Tony Arterburn is an Army veteran who recently spoke out about his last five years serving our country.

 
Many people live lives that are focused on personal motivations, but not Tony Arterburn. Since 1999, Tony Arterburn has committed his life to serving our country. After graduating from Rockwall High School, Tony Arterburn enlisted in the U.S. Army where he became a Military Policeman and Paratrooper. Tony Arterburn was stationed in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina where he served in the 108th Military Police Company Airborne/Air Assault. During his military career, Tony Arterburn became a veteran of Kosovo, Afghanistan, and Iraq.

Recently, Tony Arterburn spoke out about his time serving both locally and overseas, he stated, “Serving in the military was the single best decision I could have made in my life. The Army helped shape me into the man I am today, which I am extremely thankful for. Not only was it a growing experience, but it equipped me with ample opportunity to further my career success upon returning home.”

During his time in service, Tony Arterburn served as the driver for the Battalion Commander LT. Col David Bradley. “Serving as the driver for Mr. Bradley was one of the greatest honors of my life. He is a man I truly respect and admire, so when I was selected for the position, I was thrilled,” Tony Arterburn stated.

In May 2003, Tony Arterburn became part of the last wave of ground operations in the invasion of Northern Iraq. Additionally, his unit was the first Army Company on the ground in Afghanistan in 2001. “When my unit entered into Afghanistan, I was extremely proud. It is an honor to serve next to such brave men and women who are willing to sacrifice their lives for our country. It was an overwhelming experience that really tested my courage. It was priceless,” Tony Arterburn revealed.

Tony Arterburn returned home in 2004, and became a licensed realtor and small business owner. Now, Tony Arterburn is the CEO and President of Arterburn Real Estate Group, which is a thriving real estate agency located in Rowlett, Texas. “I am so thankful for the opportunities that the Army opened up for me. I know I would not be where I am today without my military experience. I am honored to call myself a veteran,” Tony Arterburn stated.
