National Carriers, Inc. has named Drivers of the Month for the fourth quarter of 2021. Bob Boldra, Chris Creech, and Kenneth Covington have each been named as recipients of a $1,000 bonus and are now finalists for 2021 Driver of the Year. The winner will be named during a banquet in Arlington, TX this April at the Bob Duncan Center.
Spokesman Ed Kentner expressed the appreciation National Carriers feels for each driver. “These three dedicated drivers are leaders in our fleet. They go above and beyond expectations concerning safety, customers service, and maintaining our company reputation. We are delighted to recognized them as the elite of our fleet.”
Former high school coach and teacher, Robert “Bob” Boldra. Jr., was recognized as October Driver of the Month. A native Kansan, Boldra is quickly approaching his fifth anniversary with the “Elite” fleet. He is a company driver operating within the Hide division where he delivers cattle hides from beef processing plants in southwest Kansas to a tannery in northwest Missouri.
Company driver Christopher “Chris” Creech was chosen as the November Driver of the Month. The Missourian has driven for National Carriers since December of 2016. Working on a dedicated customer account within the Midwest states, Creech hauls refrigerated freight.
Kenneth Covington was recognized as December Driver of the Month. A lease owner-operator, Covington makes his home in Tennessee. Joining the “Elite” fleet in August of 2009, he transports refrigerated products for National Elite Transportation. Nearing two million safe miles with National Carriers, this marks the second time in his career he has been a finalist for Driver of the Year.
