National Carriers is pleased to announce owner operator, Kelly Schwarte has been named Driver of the Month for March, 2014. National Carriers uses a strict criteria when choosing a driver of the month. Kelly met or exceeded all requirements which determines National Carriers Driver of the Month.

National Carriers will present Kelly with a bonus check for $500 at the National Carriers terminal in Denison, Iowa. His driver manager, Jeff Chance, will make the presentation. Kelly is now eligible for the Driver of the Year award for 2014. Jeff Chance nominated Kelly based on his dependability and his attention to detail. His nomination was seconded by Director of Operations, Art Van Der Stuyf.

“Kelly works closely with our customers shipping supervisors to balance the needs of three production plants along with deliveries to the cold storages for export and school lunch programs in a 150 mile radius of Denison, Iowa. This involves a proper number of trailers and plenty of trip planning. In 2013 Kelly transported hundreds of loads and ran 96,519 miles without incident or accident. Kelly does a great job and is truly one of the Elite leaders in our fleet,” Jeff Chance.

Schwarte has been driving professionally at National Carriers since August of 2002. He lives in west central Iowa with his wife Tina and their three children, Parker, Pyper, and Paxton.
