Red Classic Brings VIP Truck Stop Back to the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (April 20, 2016) - Red Classic, a transportation and maintenance subsidiary of Coca- Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, announces the return of its activation at the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals this Friday, April 22 through Sunday, April 24.
The event is the only four-wide national event within the 2016 NHRA Mellow Yellow Drag Racing series and has become a fan favorite for the side-by-side spectacle and activation amenities for fans coming from near and far to Charlotte’s zMAX Dragway.
As a business that currently employs more than 770 drivers, maintenance technicians and owner- operators across 12 states, Red Classic brings its VIP appreciation lounge – the Truck Stop – to facilitate activities, giveaways and educate qualified Class A drivers, owner-operators and fleet mechanics interested in joining the Red Classic family.
“We’re excited to return to the zMAX Dragway this weekend because it’s our opportunity to honor the men and women who turn wrenches and drive our trucks,” said Ron Drogan, President. “It’s a lot of fun to bring the truck stop out as a way to recognize the hard work they put in every day. Last year we were able to meet, interact and eventually hire talented people in various positions so we’re anticipating a weekend-long celebration of both endeavors.”
