The institute has a state-of-the-art simulated learning environment. This is aimed at complementing classroom learning to provide students with practical, hands-on training. The students can complete their work-based-training (WBT) or Professional Experience Placement (PEP) at any of the institute's partnered childcare, aged care or health facility partners. The students after completion of their training can enter the health industry with experience and confidence.
HLT54115 Diploma of Nursing
RGIT Australia's Diploma of Nursing (HLT54115) aims to prepare competent, knowledgeable, professional graduates who are able to apply for registration as an enrolled Nurse. with Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency: Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). In addition to this, this course has a specific commitment to preparing graduates who are competent for beginning the Diploma of Nursing graduate program.
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
This course is perfect for early childhood educators who are responsible for designing and implementing curriculum in early childhood education and care services. The students who have enrolled for RGIT Australia's Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (ECEC) program will also work to implement an approved learning framework within the requirements of the Education and Care Services National Regulations and the National Quality Standard.
Diploma of Community Services
One of the most popular courses, RGIT Australia’s Diploma of Community Services program teaches the students about the skills and knowledge required to work in a range of community service roles. This course prepares students to look after several aspects of a person’s life and help them deal with life issues from health and security to emotional wellbeing.
Certificate III in Individual Support
RGIT Australia’s Certificate III in Individual Support qualification reflects the role of workers in the community and/or residential setting who follow an individualised plan to provide person-centred support to people who may require support due to an ageing, disability or some other reason. It involves using discretion and judgement concerning individual support as well as taking responsibility for own outputs.
Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
RGIT Australia's Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care trains graduates to plan, implement and manage programs in early childhood services, following licensing, accreditation and duty of care requirements. Qualifying as an early childhood professional, the students can support the implementation of an approved learning framework, and support children's well-being, learning and development.
