Dr. Melody started Smart Girls in an apartment in Hollywood in 1992, upscaled to a bigger apartment, and eventually bought a home in valley and now she hasan office at home.

When asked what the next decade might have in store for Smart Girls Productions, Dr. Jackson notes that, "I'm stepping it up a few notches. While some of the things we've done for so long still work, there are a couple of services that are no longer relevant, so we're dropping them. But given the opportunity online – and my passion for technology – we have lots of fun and exciting things in store to help our Hollywood clients and in markets beyond that, using the principles of success that have had us last for more than 2 decades."
