Dublin, Ireland (August 30, 2014) - SMSROBOT, enthusiastic Android developers have just released new application called the “Vault". Vault is unique Android app that brings user privacy to the next level.

Vault enables Android users to protect sensitive material on their devices by encrypting images and videos from the Gallery. As an additional option protected material can be securely stored in the Cloud. In case of device loss or change, secured data can be easily restored by logging in with the same account as used on the previous device.

Furthermore, users are also enabled to protect any sensitive 3rd party application such as SMS, Contacts, Gmail, Viber, WhatsApp or Facebook by Vault protection.

Once installed Vault and other apps can be unlocked by 4 different methods: Face recognition, Fake crash, 4-digit pin and pattern. Pin and pattern protection is something that every user on Android is familiar with, however “Fake Crash” dialog provides more subtle protection as it mimics application crash on Android. Protected app can be unlocked by entering correct pin code in the “Send Error Report” section. Face Recognition provides seamless unlock method where the app needs to be “Trained” with users face. Once the app is trained, Face recognition will be automatically triggered once the protected app or Vault itself has been started.

Another important feature is “Break in Attempt” recorder. Each time someone enters wrong pin code, pattern or Face recognition fails to detect face, Vault will record this attempt along with the snapshot of the intruder using front camera device. Vault can be used in “Stealth mode” where application icon will be removed from the home screen and the only way to enter the app is by using the phone dial pad. Once the correct number has been “called”- Vault application will appear.

Application is translated in 10 different languages providing fully localized experience for the majority of Android users worldwide. So far response on the Google Play market has been great and the app has started gaining traction in numerous markets.
