On Halloween this year, the downtown Cape Coral location of All Superstars Preschool held “The World Famous Halloween Parade”. This event has been a tradition running 25 years strong.
With the help of parent volunteers and businesses in our surrounding area, all the children in our Cape Coral based preschool were able to safely trick-or-treat at various business locations around the school.
Here at All Superstars Preschool, we are dedicated to remaining involved within our communities. “The World Famous Halloween Parade” allows us to reach out to local businesses and spread joy and laughter to all!
All the children arrived to our preschool adorned in their Halloween costumes. You could feel the excitement as multiple princesses, spidermans, dinosaurs and much, much more chattered, giggled and made believe as they showed off their characters for the day.
Our teachers and parent volunteers also participated in the festivities, bringing the level of fun up to an even higher degree.
At 9:30am sharp, the parade began with our youngest preschoolers; the one and two year-olds. The little ones, fueled with curiosity, eagerly marched down the sidewalk to our first stop of the day – Card Systems Incorporated. We have been visiting this business since the inception of the parade, and they were just as excited about the festivities as we were. Their office was fully decorated with Halloween garb and all the employees took the time to dress up for the event as well! This year they even supplied live music!
After filling our candy buckets at Card Systems Incorporated, we continued our parade over to Kindness Animal Hospital. Kindness has also been a stop on our parade since the beginning, and we love the relationship we’ve fostered with them over the years.
The next stop after Kindness is Bank OZK – a newer addition to our parade route, the crew here always get dressed up for the event. This year, we were greeted by three blind mice – it was adorable.
After stopping for group photos at the bank, our journey continued onward to Damex Corporation. We have a long history with our neighbors, Damex. The office manager there, Amy, had her children and grandchildren with us at All Superstars many years ago.
To finish the parade, we had two new businesses join in the fun and we are so happy to have had them! 4 Season Realty and Roots Hair Salon set up a trick or treating station in the parking lot of our preschool so they too could hand out candy as well as coloring books to all our little trick or treaters.
We look forward to having them next year as the parade continues to grow!
This event is such an outstanding success every year due to the outstanding businesses that surround us as well as our amazing parent volunteers who help keep all our children safe.
