The walls of Teacher's Training Institute, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences was brimming with excitement as it witnessed its Fifteenth Convocation Ceremony on Tuesday, 17th May 2016 at 11.am.
The happiness of the students dressed in their graduation robes was contagious. Dr. Divya Pardeshi, a student of SMBT Dental College secured ‘Dr S G Damle Gold Medal' in Pedodontics subject (UG) in Maharashtra State. It was a moment of extreme elation as she accepted her award from the honourable chief guest. She expressed her gratitude towards her mentors, family and friends who were encouraging and supporting throughout and the day couldn't be more special to her and her family.
The ceremony was fortunate to have esteemed presence of Hon'ble Chief Guest Shri, Jagat Prakash Nadda (Union Minister, Health & Family Welfare, Government of India), Hon'ble Shri Vinod Tawde (Minister, Medical Education, School Education, Sports and Youth Welfare, Higher and Technical Education, Marathi Bhasha, Cultural Affairs & Pro -Chancellor, Maharasthra University of Health Sciences, Nashik) and Hon'ble Prof. Dr .Dr Deelip G Mhaisekar, Dr Kalidas Chavan and Dr Kashinath D Garkal.
The ceremony concluded with words of motivation from the Chief guest who congratulated the students for their success and asked them to strive for perfection.
