On the first weekend of 2016, MEDHA was celebrated in a grand way by the students of AVCOE at Sangamner. As part of this cultural fest, back-to-back competitions were conducted in the Vasant Dada Sports complex. MEDHA which is considered as the biggest college fest of Sangamner was attended by many eminent personalities including Bollywood superstar Mr. Vivek Oberoi who applauded the students for their excellent co-ordination efforts. After lightening the lamp a series of competitions followed which had many highlight events like Singing, Poetry, Fashion show, skating and many group events like Group dance, Mimicry etc. All these activities were performed by the students of AVCOE.
Mr. Vivek Oberoi gave many life tips to the students and the enthusiastic students raised their adrenaline rush and hooted for him whole heartedly when he said his famous dialogue ‘Police aaayega naa batti lagaake tab bolna Maya bhai aaya tha’ from his hit film ‘Shootout at Lokhandwala’. There was also an exquisite Skit Musical Drama performed by the students of AVCOE. All the students who participated in these events gave their 100% on stage and put on a marvellous show which will be remembered by each and everyone who was present over there. Just like each and every year, this year’s MEDHA was also a big hit because it had an eclectic collection of activities performed by the students.

About AVCOE-
AVCOE which is an engineering college was established in the year 1983. It offers various courses at under graduate and post graduate level. The college is located at Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra. The college was founded by Mr. Bhausaheb Thorat, a leader of cooperative movement, a great visionary and philanthropist.
