With such drastic and eye-opening statistics, SCL has been working day and night to provide a safe and welcoming space in the United States for Somalian Refugees. While some may require healthcare assistance, others might be interested in receiving legal advice. One of their most thought-through and prevailing services has to be their housing referrals and tenancy advocacy. The organization helps Somali refugees find basic housing and help them fill out paperwork, and meet with landlords to get them a safe and secure housing environment.
